Fall chores.

November 13, 2022 by bazleydc

For those lucky enough to have deciduous trees in their yards it’s time to manage the leaves. Raking can be hard on the pack as it is easy to over twist the low back as you make the same motion over and over again. Try to pull the rake with your arms as to not over twist. Leave the leaves or mulch them if you have a lawnmower that can do so as it is easier on your spine to push than to pull.

If you are planting spring bulbs use a cushion to kneels on the ground so you don’t have to bend over for extended periods. If you can stay in a low squat for a few minutes at a time that is great!

Enjoy being outside.
